Driving to Taunton

The journey from the Airport to Yallands Farmhouse is approximately 40 miles/64 kms and should take 55 minutes in good traffic conditions.

From the Airport complex turn Right onto the main road. This is the A38.which you should follow for 17 miles/27 kms to a roundabout where you take the 1st exit, to join the M5 motorway (signposted The South West, Taunton, Exeter). Continue on the M5 for about another 17 miles/27 kms and leave the motorway at Junction 25 (signposted Taunton). At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A358 (signposted Taunton) towards the town centre. Turn right at the second roundabout (Wickes D.I.Y Store at roundabout) - signposted Minehead - and left at the next roundabout. Follow Minehead signs for 2 miles/3 kms . Turn left at a roundabout - signposted Bishops Hull and Wellington - into Silk Mills Lane. After 1/4 mile/400 m turn left at traffic lights into Bindon Road, passing the front of Yallands Farmhouse after 100 yards/100m. Turn 1st. left into Hudson Way, immediately left into Darwin Close, and then left again into Speke Close, to reach our vehicle entrance which is at the rear of our premises.

Coach and Train

The nearest railway station to Bristol International Airport is Bristol Temple Meads in the centre of the city, from where there is a regular service to Taunton. The journey time varies between 35 minutes (non-stop) and 70 minutes (all stations).

Taxis are normally readily available at Taunton Station.

To reach Temple Meads station you will need to use the Bristol International Flyer coach link from the Airport. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes. There is no need to pre book, simply pay on board.

Frequency - The Flyer operates every 15 minutes at peak times. Timetable varies at weekends and at off peak times. Service operates every day except Christmas Day (limited services on Boxing Day & New Years Day).
